Letters To My Father

Afternoon Father,

Drove down to Ohio yesterday, ordered a reefer unit for the truck, and attempted
to spec out a box for the truck. We are thinking we will just add to the frame our-
selves, and weld a decent DOT fishplate to join it altogether. Then have the box
put on the frame. Decisions, decisions none easy, all long lasting repercussions,
so we want to take our time and do it right, so that the next truck, AND there will
be another one, will go together much easier.

Drove under the canopy of trees today. Some are changing, some resisting the
known fact that their brief life is over, and Winter is indeed coming.

Mum's on her way to Loopyland. She is going to see Amz, and perhaps some
old friends, and they are stopping to see Brian's nephews golden retriever's.
She's a fantastic person, and still going strong. I often compared you two,
as mum being west coast 90, and you east coast 90, she's still going strong...
and although you lost Maxine, who you loved dearly I think, perhaps even
though the economy isn't that good on the west coast..... the lifestyle is better.
Food for thought, wouldn't you say?
By the way the Canadian dollar is at par today!!!!!! First time in 30+ years
